Library

The library design demonstrates an exploration into allowing natural sunlight into a space in consideration of surrounding buildings. This model was made from foam core and is approximately 24" x 10" x 12". The building is broken up into various zones that determine the use of the space in consideration of the individual user experiencing the building. The entrance offers a vestibule of light three stories high. Due to the buildings surrounding, the inner spaces of the library rely on the abundance of light pouring in from the generous windows at the front and back.
