After completing the hi-fi prototype interviews and getting together with the team to complete an empathy map, we were able to assess what parts of the current prototype worked well and what we could further do to improve our product.
Our users stated that they thought that the problem with many job search websites was the cluttered view as well as the advertisements that clog up the space. We therefore aimed to create a website that was simple and straightforward that looked minimalistic, but still got the job done. Many of our users liked the feature of allowing users to save jobs so that they can go back to jobs they weren't able to fully complete at the time. We kept this feature and created a new feature that would maybe help users with this aspect. We created a calendar so that users may be reminded of future and upcoming deadlines and due dates of future interviews scheduled as well as due dates of saved applications. This would better allow users to stay on track of the application process of so many applications for many different jobs and internships.
During one of the prototype interview sessions, we noticed that some of the filter buttons such as the filter for experience for 1-3 years was not working or clickable. We fixed this by making the filter buttons larger so that users would be better able to easily click through the filters and navigate through the website.
We see the importance and value of incorporating and listening to user's feedback, suggestions, and recommendations. Our group members completed user interviews so that we may revise, edit, and improve our prototype. It is critical that we take the feedback we receive into serious consideration as it can mean serious improvements and benefits to our final product.

Attached is a video of an interview in which the user is being tested on how she navigates through the website and completes the tasks that were asked of her.
Through these interviews and sessions of testing users, we were able to see how real users would interact with our product and make refinements to improve our final product. We took notes on what parts of the current prototype worked and what parts did not work as well and how we could take actions to improve our design and functionality.
