APSA Journal

APSA JOURNAL GUIDELINES

The American Physician Scientist Association (APSA) is pleased to announce that we will be publishing our first APSA Journal this semester! Any Temple University undergraduate student can submit a research abstract that will be evaluated for publication in our Spring 2021 edition by the APSA peer review board.

Submit a brief 1-3 paragraph abstract either describing research you are/have worked on or current research you’ve read that you think others should know about. We recommend that students include an introduction, methods, results, and conclusion section to their abstract.

The submissions can be any STEM-related topic of your choosing. All outside sources must be cited in APA format. Selected students will be featured in a spotlight alongside their submission in the final publication! The journal will be distributed across Temple.

All submissions are due by:

You will be notified if your submission was accepted for publication within a week of the submission deadline.

APSA JOURNAL SUBMISSION FORM

We have provided two example abstracts below to give you an idea of what you could write. Abstracts in journal articles are good examples as well. Feel free to get creative with your submission by including doodles, diagrams, images, or anything else you feel would help communicate your topic. We’re excited to see what interests you!

If you would like some additional guidance, here are some example abstracts:
