Campus Inventory Pre-Work

Step 1: Under Tools & Activities, you will find the Campus Inventory table that asks PPLN members to take stock of the basic needs programs and resources that exist on your campus. This inventory, when complete, will highlight gaps and key opportunities to advance support for parenting students. Please start by making a copy for you and your campus to use. Scroll down the page to step 2 once you have made a copy.

MASTER PPLN COPY: The Hope Center's Basic Needs Support Inventory Tool

Step 2: For our May 26th event, please collect Phase 1 (high level) inventory information as a baseline for housing supports on your campus, including obstacles or opportunities for parenting students specifically. The Service or Program Category column includes a drop-down list to choose from. Beyond that, all fields in the table are open format for your notes, and most include descriptions to help inform the information intended for that column. Note that the right-most tab at the bottom includes a menu of Example Supports - these are just a sampling of basic needs supports to prompt options and ideas.

FYI: This tool is for your use only and won't be shared outside the Learning Network. You will have time to add and adapt your inventory as we progress through our program together. Feel free to jump into Phase 2 if you want, but this is not expected until later.
