The "3+3" is a six-year program that allows you to complete the B.S. in Health Professions degree requirements in 3 years and apply for admission to the Doctorate of Physical Therapy on an accelerated timeline. Students must meet admissions requirements for early admission to the D.PT.; and once admitted, you will begin your grad level requirements the summer between Junior and Senior year, earning a D.PT. in 3 years.
Students work with an assigned advisor in the Health Professions who will help them finish their undergraduate requirements on an accelerated timeline. Students also work with the office of Pre-Professional Health Studies (PPHS) on all the requirements for application to Temple PT.
This website will give current students information on their requirements for the B.S. in Health Professions (see your specific catalog term for your major requirements).
Students must apply for admission to the 3+3 program through PPHS no later than the fall of their Freshman year.
