I am very excited to be a part of Temecula Preparatory School. I received my Bachelors degree from California State University Long Beach with my credential. I began my career at Murrieta Valley Unified School District and then moved to Menifee Union School District, before coming to Temecula Preparatory School. I am married and have one child of my own. Much of my time outside of the classroom is spent at being outdoors, reading, and spending time with my family.
I am excited to be teaching your 4th grader. The fourth grade curriculum is very powerful and engaging. My goal is to use this curriculum to make learning fun and meaningful for each of the students. I have very high expectations for each of them. Fourth grade is a year of independence. Students will begin to take responsibility for their own learning. While working together, as parents and teachers, we will provide the cushion of support for the students, while they rise to higher levels of academics on their own.
"Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education." - Martin Luther King Jr.
Use the Homework at a Glance for weekly classwork and homework assignments. In the event of an absence, or early dismissal, students are responsible for completing missed work listed on the Homework at a Glance. Students have one day for each day absent to complete assignments. Students who have early dismissal are not allotted extra time to complete assignments. Students are expected to copy their homework into their Learning Logs daily in class. Learning Log checks will be done at teacher discretion.
Please note: Math Homework at a Glance items apply only to students who attend daily math lessons in Room 19.
