Tooku Ara Mataaho
Mokopuna are encouraged to explore and refine potential pathways that might lead to work, further study or training, post Te Kōpuku High.
Ngaa Ara Mataaho are split into three strands;
Hau Mataaho, (work-ready)
Aho Mataaho (industry ready)
Kura Mataaho (university-ready)
Mokopuna can work towards one or more of these pathways.
Hau Mataaho
(Work-ready)
Hau Mataaho focuses on developing a ToolKit for Life. Hau Mataaho is created for mokopuna seeking to enter directly into employment. Using Ngā Pou o te Whare Wharauātea as the framework, Mokopuna holistically learn, gather and accomplish specific skills, knowledge, and certifications at each Pou to build their ToolKit for Life.
Aho Mataaho
(Industry-ready)
Aho Mataaho focuses on mokopuna wishing to pursue an apprenticeship and/or enter into further training in one or more industries.

Kura Mataaho
(University-ready)
Kura mataaho focuses on supporting mokopuna to achieve University Entrance and NCEA Level 3 in order to gain entry to their preferred field or discipline at their chosen University. They are also supported to develop skills and strategies to manage the demands of a heavily-weighted academic programme.
