Spring Virtual Elective Clubs

 PLEASE READ THIS IN ITS ENTIRETY!

Thank you for your interest in our Virtual Electve Club program!   All Tech Trep Academy students in Kindergarten through 12th grade  (for the 2023-2024 school year) are eligible to join our Virtual Elective Club program. All of our clubs are taught by certified teachers or professionals in the field, and they will provide your student(s) with a wonderful club experience!  

All clubs will meet at a designated day and time for one hour over Zoom each week. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CLUBS ARE IN MOUNTAIN TIME. You will need a computer or device that can access Zoom and some clubs will require other supplies or access to programs as noted in the club descriptions.  All of these clubs are only offered virtually and no in-person meetings are required.  Minimum system requirements for participation in a Zoom meeting are found here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362023-System-requirements-for-Windows-macOS-and-Linux.  You do need a webcam, microphone and iPad/tablet/laptop/desktop computer to participate, as well as good internet access.

Unless otherwise stated each club has a maximum of 30 students per session.  Clubs do require a minimum amount of students to run, so if your club does not meet the minimum, you will receive an email at least a week before clubs begin to let you know.

Please note, for spring semester, all club registration will be in Infocenter.  Club registration will open in InfoCenter on Monday, December 11th. Spring club registration will close on December 30th, 2023.  All club information will be sent through Schoology only.  

Club fees will be deducted directly from your supplemental learning funds/points for the spring session. Students may choose to switch clubs, as long as there is room in the club they would like to switch to, and as long as approval is given.  Families in all states besides Idaho can contact classesandclubs@techtrepacademy.com.  Idaho families may also contact classesandclubs.tta@malad.us. You will receive a welcome message through Schoology from your student's club teacher before clubs begin that will provide you with the club's scheduled meeting days, the Zoom link, and the necessary supplies.  (Supply lists can also be found in the description document).  Please be sure to login to your Schoology account to see any classes and clubs you have registered for.  They will appear in Schoology a few days before the club begins.
