Ocean View Trail of Terror Celebrates a Decade of Screams with All-New Asylum Themed Haunted Trail Benefiting Local Volunteer Firefighters

OCEAN VIEW, NJ — The Ocean View Volunteer Fire Company marks the 10th anniversary of its premier annual fundraiser, the Ocean View Trail of Terror, returning this October with its most immersive and terrifying production to date: Ocean View Trail of Terror: Asylum

Set deep in the dark, dense woods directly behind the Ocean View fire station, this milestone season transforms the forest trail into an escape from a psychiatric facility where the patients have seized control. Guests will navigate dimly lit trails inhabited by unsettling orderlies, escaped inmates, and nightmarish experimental staff.

For a full decade, the Trail of Terror has brought high-octane Halloween entertainment to the local community while providing critical financial support to the Ocean View Volunteer Fire Company. Every dollar raised directly funds equipment, training, and operations within the firehouse.

Event Highlights & Information

·        Dates & Hours: Open Friday and Saturday October 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, and 24. Doors open at 7:00 PM for the first victims to enter, with ticket sales    closing at 10:00 PM.

·        Location: Directly behind the Ocean View Firehouse, 2545 Route 9, Ocean View, NJ.

·        Experience: An intensive, guided haunted trail in the woods featuring custom practical effects, interactive scenes, and live scare actors.

·        Atmosphere & Concessions: Hot food and snacks are for sale in the queue line area along with event merchandise, a photo op, and a video DJ booth, and sideshow performances on select nights.

·        Admission: $10 general admission per person at the door via cash or card.

This attraction is entirely designed, constructed, and operated by volunteer firefighters, local emergency personnel, and dedicated community volunteers. Due to intense scares, sudden & loud noises, strobes, and low visibility, parental discretion is advised for younger children.
