Never open or download email attachments from untrusted sources or unexpected messages! Viruses and malware are easy to hide in email attachments. If you don't know what an attachment is, delete the message. Even if someone you know or trust sends you an email with an attachment "out of the blue" without any background, context, or prior conversation, delete the message. If it seems suspicious, it probably is. When in doubt, toss it out. If it turns out you deleted a safe, legitimate message, contact the Technology Department for assistance in recovering the message.
