Sample Portfolio — Ms. Odums Sample Portfolio

Students will begin portfolio planning in the 3rd trimester of their 7th grade year.  Students will work with Ms. Mendoza to create a draft portfolio which can be modified/adapted to different school applications. Students are encouraged to continue working on their portfolio in the summer prior to their 8th grade year, so that their portfolio will be completed prior to the high school application season in the fall of their 8th grade year.

Guidelines:  Portfolios are to be created in Google Slides using a student's personal (not school) gmail address. No more than 10 slides should be included in the presentation.  Students are advised to focus on showing their interest and expertise in their selected subject area.  Please do NOT include recommendation letters, grades, transcripts or academic certificates as part of the portfolio.  Make sure the portfolio has permission set to be viewable by anyone.  External links are not accepted.
