Welcome to the Theatre Department, where the magic of the stage comes alive and students are immersed in the world of theatrical arts. We offer a comprehensive theatre education program for students from kindergarten through twelfth grade, providing a nurturing and inspiring environment for young actors and performers to develop their talents and ignite their passion for the dramatic arts.

In grades K-4, we are excited to partner with bergenPAC (Bergen Performing Arts Center) to offer theatre instruction. Through this partnership, students are introduced to the foundations of theatre, exploring storytelling, character development, and basic stagecraft. Our dedicated instructors from bergenPAC foster creativity and self-expression, allowing young students to discover the joy of performing and building confidence on stage. Through age-appropriate activities, games, and small productions, students in grades K-4 develop a solid foundation in theatre, igniting their love for the dramatic arts and setting the stage for future exploration.

As students progress to the middle and high school levels, our Theatre Department continues to provide a rich and immersive theatre experience. At the middle level, students participate in a fall play, where they have the opportunity to showcase their acting skills and collaborate with their peers. Through auditions, rehearsals, and performances, students learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, and the art of storytelling. At the high school level, we elevate the theatrical experience by offering both a fall play and a spring musical. Students have the chance to delve deeper into character development, vocal training, choreography, and stage production. These productions allow students to showcase their talents in a grand theatrical spectacle, providing unforgettable experiences and fostering a lifelong love for the theatre arts.
