I was born in Inglewood, California, grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and I have been a musician since I was four years old. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Performance for Piano and Voice from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey, and I recently finished my Educational Specialist Degree in Leadership from the American College of Education in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Music started as an extra curricular activity for me, as I was on track to be a lawyer specializing in intellectual property, but I fell in love with what music can do for people in understanding it, creating it, and sharing it. Now, I find joy in bringing that fulfillment to others, through teaching student choirs and working with adult groups. I still perform regularly as a conductor, a vocalist, and an accompanist, but nothing excites me more helping new and developing artists to find their own love and appreciation for music as I have!
