Sign up for the Student Leaders Advisory Council 2025

The Student Leaders Advisory Council (SLAC) is a 12-month programme by Teach For Malaysia that aims to empower student leadership and voice by fostering strong partnerships between students and adults.

By joining SLAC, students will:

Grow as Leaders by gaining experience in project planning skills and teamwork, while developing strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
Network & Get Mentorship from other inspiring leaders.
Be empowered and Create Impact by advising and partnering with TFM stakeholders on programme quality and co-create a national summit amplifying student voices on education.

Eligibility

11-16 years old
Motivated to learn, self-driven, able to work in a team, and resilient
Able to commit to 2 hours (weekly) from August 2025 - October 2025 and November 23 and 24 for the Student Summit.
