General Information
Model United Nations is the simulation of the United Nations. Each student becomes a delegate of the country they represent in order to solve global issues while advancing their country's agenda.
Walled Lake Central Model United Nations draws a diverse group of informed Walled Lake Central students to address current global issues. We participate in many conferences that help provide students with a better understanding of the inner workings of the United Nations, and learn skills in diplomacy, negotiation, critical thinking, public speaking, writing, and research.
History
The WLC Model United Nations Club is the longest running club at Walled Lake Central High School. Since its founding, by Glenn Ruggles, the club has provided an atmosphere delegates can succeed in.
