PALMYRA STEM

STEM Education teaches principles of science, technology, engineering and mathematics using a comprehensive, integrative approach. STEM skills incorporate problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, persistence, communication, and a growth mindset.

In Palmyra, STEM Education is offered at the elementary level to all third, fourth, and fifth grade students as part of the Related Arts rotation and is available to grades K-2 in a co-teaching push-in format for special projects.

STEM is also offered as a unified arts class at the middle school for all students grades 6-8.

STEM learning is hands-on, innovative and collaborative in nature, preparing our students for a bright future in the competitive global community.
