Build your workforce and develop your future employees by participating in the Youth Apprenticeship program. Youth Apprenticeship is a state-wide program that helps you grow your workforce by providing high school juniors and seniors with paid, on-the-job work experience and in-school classroom training in your field. Youth Apprentices work hands-on with a mentor at your business to gain a minimum of 450 hours per year of paid work experience while taking related high school or college classes.
Youth Apprenticeship benefits your business by helping you train highly skilled, certified tradespeople to grow your company and meet your business needs. After graduating high school, a Youth Apprentice will be prepared to enter the workforce and support your business as a qualified professional.
