Hire a Youth Apprentice
Build your workforce and develop your future employees by participating in the Youth Apprenticeship program. Youth Apprenticeship is a state-wide program that helps you grow your workforce by providing high school juniors and seniors with paid, on-the-job work experience and in-school classroom training in your field. Youth Apprentices work hands-on with a mentor at your business to gain a minimum of 450 hours per year of paid work experience while taking related high school or college classes.
Why Hire a Youth Apprentice?
Youth Apprenticeship benefits your business by helping you train highly skilled, certified tradespeople to grow your company and meet your business needs. After graduating high school, a Youth Apprentice will be prepared to enter the workforce and support your business as a qualified professional.
Hiring a Youth Apprentice can Help You:
Develop and train your future employees
Build a loyal workforce and decrease turnover
Establish a pipeline to recruit skilled employees
Form lasting partnerships with area high schools
