Kenosha Unified School District’s 62nd annual Orchestra Festival will be presented on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at Indian Trail High School and Academy. This event will showcase nearly 1,400 elementary, middle, high and charter school orchestra students.

Tickets for field house seating must be purchased online. Please know that tickets will not be available at the door and field house seating may sell out in a short amount of time.

Tickets go on sale February 10th, 2025, 8:00am. You can only purchase a maximum of 3 tickets per order. All seating will be in the bleachers (ADA seating available).

The event will also be streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel. Guests may watch the live stream for free without a ticket in the Indian Trail auditorium. Last year's festival is shown below!

Student Dismissal

Please be advised that at the conclusion of the event, all 5th grade students will exit the building through the auditorium, to the 5th Grade Pick-Up Zone. To ensure a smooth and efficient dismissal process, this area is located in the commons by the windows (west wall). This will help you easily locate your child and avoid any confusion during the busy dismissal period and hopefully avoid any confusion.

2025 Guest Conductor

This year’s guest conductor is Professor E. Edward Kawakami. Professor Kawakami is the current Associate Professor of Music and Director of Orchestral Activities at Carthage College. In 2017-18 he received the Carthage College Distinguished Teacher of the Year award and is an active clinician, guest conductor, and adjudicator.

Contingency Plans

In the event of severe weather, families should check the district’s website, Channel 20 and social media, as well as other various local news and radio stations, for changes in the schedule of activities slated to take place throughout the weekend of the festival.
