Experience: I’m excited to share that this is my tenth year teaching at FWISD! I spent six years teaching art at Jean McClung Middle School, and am now in my fourth year at South Hills High School. I have been making art with various mediums for over five decades, and I appreciate the joy and satisfaction that comes from art-making.

**Intent:** In addition to teaching the elements and principles of art and color theory, I strongly emphasize developing essential soft skills. These include creativity, attention to detail, self-confidence, self-esteem, and perseverance. I firmly believe that these skills are crucial for our students' future success in an increasingly demanding world.

**Personal:** I enjoy traveling, visiting our nation’s national parks, and participating in charity work with my wife, Faith, our son, Jonathan, and our wonderful church family at Central Bible Church in Fort Worth, TX.
