Experience: This is my 8th year teaching art in FWISD. I taught for six years at Jean McClung MS, and look forward to my second year at South Hills, H.S.

I have been making art with various mediums for over five decades, and appreciate the joy and satisfaction that comes with the process of art making.

I also have over 15 years experience as an independent filmmaker and freelance photographer.

Intent: Besides teaching the elements and principles of art and sharing my passion for the craft with my students, I also stress to them the importance of developing soft skills such as creativity, attention to detail, self-confidence, self-esteem, and resilience, that are essential for their future success in our increasingly challenging world.

Personal: I enjoy serving at our church, traveling around the world, visiting our nation's national parks, and doing non-profit refugee resettlement work with my wife Faith.
We also enjoy quality family time at church and home.
