Expectations for                               Success

**Expectations for The Creative Zone** 

1. **Effort:** Work consistently on all assignments throughout class. Always give your best effort, even on lessons you may not enjoy. Use sketchbook journaling during idle time. 

2. **Responsibility:** Use materials responsibly, and clean your table and floor space at the end of each class session.

3. **Assessments:** Your projects and sketchbook work will be evaluated based on lesson criteria, creativity, craftsmanship, effort, and attitude.

4. **Conduct:** Be prompt, polite, and ready to work. 

**Housekeeping:** - Use and clean all art materials properly. 

- Take personal supplies with you. 

- Return class supplies to their places. 

- Clean your area before leaving. 

**Rules:** - No personal grooming or inappropriate attire. 

- No electronic devices without permission. 

- No public show of affection in the classroom, or anywhere on campus. 

- Minor infractions may lead to detention. 

- Follow South Hills High School policies. 

**Referral Issues:** - Destruction of artwork, scratching desks, throwing objects, or stealing materials. 

- Inappropriate use of images. 

- Disrespect toward others or the teacher. 

- Refusal to work on assignments during the class period 

- Disrupting the class.

• The syllabus might be updated as needed throughout the School Year at the teacher’s discretion.
