About Me

First, I am excited to be here with y'all. I love learning new things and I especially enjoy teaching history.

My name is Mr. Daniels. I earned my Bachelor's from UNT in History in 2009. I earned my MBA from UNT in 2016. After working in business for several years, I decided to join my wife in education. We have two boys, a dog and a bearded dragon!

Before earning my degrees, I earned the Eagle, Globe and Anchor. I joined the Marine Corps right after graduation from high school. I spent close to 5 years on active duty where I met my wife! She, too, was a US Marine! Marines have a good sense of humor, but despise poor conduct and the unprofessional. We have high expectations of ourselves and others, and a low tolerance for discipline issues. We thrive in chaos but prefer order. Marines will break you down, but they will build you back better. Once a Marine, Always a Marine.

Things that I really like: managing my lawn (kind of obsessively), watching movies and Bob's Burgers, hiking in the mountains, staying healthy, researching and learning new things. I follow Elon Musk and Jerry Seinfeld on twitter, I listen to books on Audible, I enjoy great food and good times with family. I'm probably a lot like you!
