ILL STUDENT CRITERIA:

Fever 100 F or greater
Body aches
Chills
Cough
Sore throat
Severe Headache
Rash
Shortness of Breath
Difficulty Breathing
Loss of taste or smell
Nausea/ Vomiting/ Diarrhea

Students may not return to school until they are fever free for 24hrs without the use of fever suppressing medications

Quarantine & Environmental Response

Should confirmed cases of COVID-19 arise, the District response will include:

Targeted cleaning and sanitization of potentially contaminated areas. COVID reporting, contact tracing, and isolation and quarantine procedures as needed.

• Close contacts do not quarantine unless they have a positive Covid test and/or symptomatic themselves.

• Students in quarantine will be marked with an excused absence. Teachers will follow the FWISD Guide to Grade Reporting regarding procedures for make-up work opportunities.
