About Ms. Massey, Your Librarian
The 2020-2021 school year marks the 5th year I have been the school librarian for North Hi Mount Elementary! Prior to becoming a librarian, I taught grades K-3 for 6 years. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education in 2009 and a Master of Library Science degree in 2017 from Texas Woman's University. Before that I substitute taught in other districts and FWISD a few years. Outside of school I enjoy taking walks with my ginormous dog, Derrick, and doing fun things with my friends. I have one sister who is two years older and a brand new baby niece who is eight months old! I have many interests including reading, watching tv/movies, playing computer games, crafting, baking/cooking, organizing, shopping, traveling, and so much more!
