Mr. Eagle

As you know, the mascot for North Hi Mount is the eagle! But did you know the story of Mr. Eagle? When I first arrived to North Hi Mount as your librarian in 2016, I met him flying around the school building looking for his parents. He had lost them during a trip flying South to Florida so I decided he could stay with me in the library. As kids came to visit, he quickly developed a presence at story time with his mischievous and often hilarious antics. One time, the kids found him wearing a pair of Superman underwear! He writes letters, makes funny videos, and even dresses up in funny costumes for the stories we read. He even has his very own house. You can expect to hear from him online and watch videos of him this year. Hopefully you'll even get to write to him and send him all kinds of messages yourself!
