Dear parent/ at home learning partner,

Throughout the school year, we conduct assessments that help me understand how your child is progressing in specific learning areas. The assessments help me identify areas in which your child might need more support and practice. This will also help me determine if your child needs targeted support for a skill and I will be able to develop lessons to support that learning area.

The district is requiring me to start assessing next week starting Monday, September 21, 2020. Therefore, I am having to administer this assessment while students are still at home. I will need you to be present or close by for parts of the assessment. I'll also need to get some information from you after your child and I are finished. This will only take a few minutes.

During the assessment I will be sharing my screen with your child and they will just need to answer the questions that I will be reading off to them.
