DEBATE

The ability to discuss issues with another individual, without taking it personally, is an amazing form of communication. We will debate and watch debates as we learn about each other, issues at hand, and understand how people debate. 

Think-Pair-Share 

When presented with a topic to discuss we will use this method

• Question is asked

• Think about your answer

• Pair up with the designated partner

• Discuss each others thoughts

• Share with the class what was discussed

Response Cards

We will use cards to answer questions from various discussions, slides, and videos. You will:

• Put your first and last name

• Period of the class

• Date

• Answer but leave space as we will return to your cards for additional input or furthering of knowledge

Written Responses

We will have open ended questions with sentence stems to assist each student to answer their thought out answers on paper.
