4th/5th grade

Welcome 4^th and 5^th Grade Students and Parents!

We are “virtually” excited beyond belief to be back in school! We are excited to provide to your students (our scholars) educational experiences that will last them throughout their academic career and life.

This year all 4^th and 5^th grade students will be taught by the amazing 5^th grade team of teachers: Mrs. Cotton (Math), Ms. Omar (Science, ELA Composition), Mrs. Smith (Reading, ELA Spelling, Handwriting), and Mrs. Kelley (Inclusion). Joining the team this year is Mrs. McFarland (Social Studies, ELA Conventions, LLI).

As you continue to prepare for returning to school, be sure that your child logs in on the Chromebook and goes to the Launchpad. This platform is easily accessible for the students as they use the portal for their apps and is the starting place for all FWISD virtual classrooms:

¡Bienvenidos estudiantes y padres de cuarto y quinto grado

¡Estamos “virtualmente” emocionados más allá de lo creíble de estar de regreso en la escuela! Nos complace brindarles a sus estudiantes (nuestros académicos) experiencias educativas que les durarán a lo largo de su carrera académica y su vida.

Este año, todos los estudiantes de 4to y 5to grado serán enseñados por el increíble equipo de maestros de 5to grado: Sra. Cotton (Matemáticas), Sra. Omar (Ciencias, Composición ELA), Sra. Smith (Lectura, Ortografía ELA, Escritura a mano) y Sra. Kelley (Inclusión). Uniéndose al equipo este año está la Sra. McFarland (Estudios Sociales, Convenciones ELA, LLI).

Mientras continúa preparándose para regresar a la escuela, asegúrese de que su hijo inicie sesión en el Chromebook y vaya al Launchpad. Esta plataforma es de fácil acceso para los estudiantes ya que utilizan el portal para sus aplicaciones y es el punto de partida para todas las aulas virtuales del FWISD:
