I grew up right here is Fort Worth and attended Fort Worth ISD schools from kindergarten to 12th grade. By the time I started 5th grade, I knew I wanted to be a teacher someday! I attended Baylor University (Sic'em!), where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education with a focus in Gifted & Talented Education. In addition to my general elementary education and gifted & talented certifications, I gained my certification for english as a second language while at Baylor.

This is my 4th year to teach 4th grade at Alice Carlson ALC. I taught second grade in Arlington, TX for one year before joining the amazing Carlson family! Teaching is my passion and I love spending each day learning alongside your children.

I got married this summer! My husband, Josh, is an engineer at Lockheed Martin. In our spare time, we enjoy traveling and spending time with friends & family.
