Asynchronous is independent self directed learning done by the student at home. For asynchronous learning, I will provide teaching videos for students to watch and activities to complete which will be turned in through our Google Classroom.

What is synchronous?

Synchronous is teaching that takes place in a Google Meet with two way communication between the students and myself. We will have two synchronous times each day, Monday - Thursday. Friday will be all synchronous so that I can plan, meet with students one-on-one, and attend grade level meetings.

What is my student misses synchronous lessons?

No need to worry! All synchronous lessons will be recorded and posted in Google Classroom for any student that needs to watch the lesson at a later time.

What is Google Classroom?

Google classroom is your student's virtual classroom. This is where I will post assignments for students to complete and turn in each day. What they see in Google Classroom will mirror the lesson plan I post each week on this site.

What is Google Meet?

Google Meet is our video conferencing tool to meet with students. This space is like Zoom, but adds more protection and security for students.
