Classes

We offer courses in performance, technical, and production.

Theatre 1-4 courses focus on performance, building on each other to take students from the fundamentals of theatre and performance to creating in depth characters and directing.

Technical Theatre 1-4 courses focus on backstage craft. Students will learn the basic skills for designing and building scenery, props, costumes, make-up, lighting, sound, and marketing. Each level will build on the depth and complexity of the skills learned before, as well as allow students to develop a focus on one aspect as they progress.

Production courses are audition only, reserved for students participating in the UIL show. This course will provide time for students to dive deeper into historical research, design, planning, directing, character building, and the deeper aspects of creating and putting together a show.
