New Employees must complete training by December 19, 2025 or within 60 days of hire.
Fort Worth ISD is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all students and staff. To uphold this commitment and to better align with Strategic Priority 4: Operational Alignment & Efficiency, mandatory VectorSolutions - SafeSchools training modules for the 2025-2026 school year have been selected to ensure employees have the tools, knowledge, and resources to serve our district effectively, while also respecting their valuable time.
By streamlining these training modules and utilizing the test-out options, more time is available for employees to focus on what truly matters - supporting our students and advancing their academic growth.
Reduced Overall Coursework: This year’s required training totals 221 minutes, a reduction of 39 minutes compared to 260 minutes in the 2024-2025 school year.
Test-Out Options: Of the 221 minutes, 170 minutes can be waived by using the test-out feature to demonstrate competency before starting the course.
Faster Path to Completion: If employees successfully test out of all eligible sections, annual training can be completed in just 51 minutes. This saves more than two hours compared to completing the full set of modules.
Select employees such as instructional staff and child nutrition services may have additional role-related extra training accessible through the SafeSchools platform that is not outlined in the table above.
The IT Training Team is excited to offer trainings to employees throughout the school year.
