After 30 years in education, I still believe what Mandela said, that "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." All students need and deserve advocates who see the best in them and will work on their behalf. Our work changes the world, and even if it is changing the world for one student, it has been worth it all.

I believe education should empower students to ask questions confidently and without fear of judgement. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel safe, respected and motivated to grow. I strive each day to help students develop the responsibility and skills needed to live independently and succeed beyond the classroom.
