Syllabus

Well, here we are. 2021- 2022 from different or some same life situations. I know we all been through some things, so we’re going to do our best to try and embrace learning to keep ourselves growing and not let the stress of the times knock us down. I can only imagine what the rest of the year looks like. We’re going to be in the moment and positive. I just want to welcome students back to in-person school and give you a short list of things I think we’re going to need to have and need to know. Let’s have a good year!

• Pens

• Highlighter

• Journal or Composition Book (English)

• Notebook and folder (Math)

• Chromebook

Attendance:

THIS IS THE BIG ONE! You need to interact with me and/or my class every day you are scheduled to see me. Remember, we are on a block schedule for A/B day. You will attend Resource ELA 4th period on A days and Resource Math 6th period on B days for in person class and attendance. If you don’t attend class, please communicate and come to my office hours after school. If you cannot attend either meetings, I need an email or a Google Voice call or text from you.

Grading:

I will sort grades into 3 categories: Daily Work (60%) , (15%) Participation and (25%) Test. Basically everything will be a formative assignment unless it is a test or a demonstration of learning. I’ll let you know when.
