South Hills was one of the first 100 schools nation-wide accepted into the Pre-AP Cohort School Partnership (2018-2019). Pre-AP and Honors courses are open to all students. The courses emphasize critical thinking reading research, writing and/or extensive labs. These courses teach strong study skills and learning strategies as a foundation for Advanced Level Courses, such as Advanced Placement and dual enrollment (TCC Dual Credit/or UT OnRamps).
