On your MacBook Air, the macOS includes many accessibility features to support your vision, hearing, and physical motor needs.
If you didn’t turn on the features when you set up your MacBook, you can do so at any time in the Accessibility System Settings. Follow the directions below to learn how to access your Accessibility Settings.
Locate and click on Apple Menu button (top left corner of the screen).

3. Scroll down on the sidebar and click Accessibility.
There are four main categories of Accessibility Settings (vision, hearing, physical motor, and general) that you can explore and adjust on your MacBook Air. In the following interactive, you will learn how to personalize your MacBook to best meet your needs.
Click on each item, indicated by the arrow, to learn more about that particular setting.
Pro Tip: Change the size and color of the cursor to easily find and display the pointer/arrow by adjusting the settings in your Accessibility System Settings. Click Vision > Display > Pointer tab.
Best Practice: Use Speak Selection Keyboard shortcut: Option + S to quickly toggle Spoken Content by adjusting the settings in Accessbility > Vision > Spoken Content > Speak Selection > Options.
