This page highlights key accessibility options available in Google Workspace to help your child succeed.

Open a document in Google Docs in a supported browser.
Click Tools > Voice typing. A microphone box appears.

In a Chrome browser, open a presentation in Google Slides.
Click Tools > Voice type speaker notes.

Please note that Chrome extensions are only available on desktops, laptops, and Chromebooks. Chrome extensions are not available on tablets (including iPads) and mobile devices.

You can send captions to Google to automatically translate them.
In Windows or Mac:
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, select the three vertical dots > Settings > Accessibility.
Turn Live Translate on or off.
If you want to get Live Translate in a language other than English:
Next to “Translate to,” select down arrow ⬇️ > your preferred language.
You can customize your captions for Live Caption in Chrome to make them easier to read. You can:
Collapse and expand captions with the arrow in the Live Caption bubble.
Select the captions to move them to your preferred place on your browser.
You can adjust your caption font, size, and color.
