Some campuses have Promethean Flat Panels in each classroom. The Quick Reference Guide below will help you navigate and use the Promethean Flat Panel.

Promethean Board Software Compatibility
Promethean boards are compatible with the ActivInspire software. ActivInspire is a lesson delivery software that allows you to design and present flipcharts to your class.
Your school-issued laptop will likely come with ActivInspire already loaded. If not, you can download it from the Software Center.
You can also use your Promethean board with other software and programs.

All teachers are issued a FWISD laptop. Most teacher devices are Lenovo laptops.
Student Devices
Student Devices
All students can be issued a FWISD device. Most students are provided with a Chromebook.
*Select campuses and student groups are issued other devices, such as laptops or iPads.
Student devices can be used in your daily lessons. Later in this training, you will learn about the Blended Learning model and how to implement it in your classroom.
