ATTENDANCE
Have you lost credit due to absences?
Click down below to check how many hours you must complete for credit restoration.
WHY Does Attendance MATTER?
When a student is absent more than 10% of class time, they will lose credit for the course. When they lose credit, they are at risk of not moving on to the next grade level.
**CREDITS, NOT YEARS, moves students in grade level.
Students who attend on a regular basis are more likely to succeed in academics. We recommend parents and students to plan a night and morning routine. When a student has a good night routine, they will be well rested the next morning. Having a good morning routine will cause the student to be ready and on time for school.

Attendance for Credit
90% Law
§§25.092 90% Rule - Loss of Credit
Students must attend at least 90% of the days a student is enrolled in a course and pass in order to be awarded credit. When a student misses more than 10% of their class days (excused and/or unexcused), the student will be denied credit for the class, even if they have a passing grade.
Good Attendance + Passing Grade = Credit
If the student misses more than 25%, the student will lose credit and be ineligible for Credit Restoration, a petition must be submitted.
