Day5

Today, we visited Oracle Park, the home of the San Francisco Giants. It was an impressive site, located right by the ocean. A guide took us around the park, allowing us to learn more about the Giants. When we actually entered the ballpark, we were overwhelmed by the grandeur of the stadium and felt a strong desire to watch a Major League Baseball game here! It was an invaluable experience to visit a place that is usually off-limits.

今日はサンフランシスコ・ジャイアンツの本拠地であるOracle parkに行ってきました！海の近くにあり、とても涼しかったです。ガイドさんに案内してもらいながら回ったため、より深くジャイアンツについて知ることができました。実際に球場に入るとその迫力に圧倒され「ここでメジャーリーグの野球を見てみたい！」と強く思いました。普通なら入れないようなところにも行けて、とても貴重な体験になりました。

Today was the last English lesson at Mission College. We made presentations on various questions about money and happiness. Lastly, our teacher played the song 'Money Isn’t Real' by Jordan Davis, and we came to understand the meaning of the lyrics. With today's session, all English lessons have concluded. We have felt ourselves grow. We must now apply this confidence to our daily lives.

今日はミッションカレッジでの最後の英語の授業でした。私たちはお金と幸福についてのさまざまな質問に関するプレゼンテーションを行いました。最後に、先生はジョーダン・デイビスの「Money Isn’t Real」という歌を流し、私たちはその歌詞の意味を理解することができました。本日で全ての英語の授業が終了しました。私たちは自分たちの成長を感じています。必ずこの自信を日々の生活に繋げていきます。

In our class, we first discussed various topics provided by the teacher for 90 seconds with our classmates. Next, we introduced to each other our favorite personal traits. Then, we debated the advantages and disadvantages of social media, which was the main theme of the day. After the class, we took pictures and enjoyed an ice cream party with international students. We talked a lot, played 'Kahoot!' and bingo. I think we had a great time at Mission College.

私たちでのクラスでは、まず、先生から提示されたいくつかのトピックについて90秒間、クラスメートと話しあいました。次に、クラスメートとお互いに一番好きな自分の個性について紹介しあいました。その後、今日のメインテーマであるソーシャルメディアの利点と欠点について議論しました。授業のあとは、ミッションカレッジの留学生と一緒に写真を撮り、アイスパーティーを楽しみました。たくさん話して、Kahoo!やビンゴゲームをして。最高な時間を過ごしました。

After classes, I enjoyed watching the volleyball games of my host sister Christine's volleyball club. This was my first time meeting her and I was very happy. She was excellent at volleyball and looked so cool. It was my first time seeing volleyball from such a close distance. The intense match was both thrilling and frightening for me.

授業後、ホストシスターであるクリスティーンのクラブチームのバレーボールの試合を見に行きました。私は彼女と会うのは初めてで、会えてとても嬉しかったです。彼女はとてもバレーボールが上手でかっこよかったです。こんなに近くでバレーボールを見るのは初めてでした。少し怖かったですが、とても興奮しました。
