About Marathon
Distance: 42.192 km
Location: R.O.C Military Academy
Competition Rules:
a) 7 boys a team / 8 girls a team / 4 girls and 5 boys in one team
b) The fastest team which achieve the terminal point is the champion.
c) Each class needs to recommend 2 teams to participate the race.
Purpose
To make students learn how to cooperate with others.

Introduction:
The first water sport game took place in 2003. In the beginning, one of the retired P.E. teacher came up with an idea called “The Water Sport Game” because he wants to let students know how to save themselves and help people in danger during swimming. The purpose of this activity is to let people know how to save themselves or others in danger and train student’s swimming skills. The importance is teachers want students to not only learn how to save themselves but also cooperate through the games.
Water Sport game has four interesting competitions and a swimming contest. The following games are:
Interesting competitions:
”I want to survive”:The number of participants are 20.
Introduction:
There are five parts:
The former four students should inflate the rainpants then put it in front of the beast to keep your head floating on the top of the water and kicking to the other side.
The six students latter use the plastic bottle under the neck and use backstroke to the other side.
The thirteenth to the sixteenth hold a floating object and kick water to the other side.
The seventeenth to twentieth use the bucket covering the water and kick to the other side. The twentieth who arrives the other side first win the game.
”Double sculls”:The number of participants are 24.
Dividing the class into two groups. A group of two cross over the pool with
kickboard. Like the relaying, the groups arriving the other side first win the game.
”Plastic Boat” :The number of participants are 20.
A person sits on the life buoy while two people sent him to the other side. After sending, two people should send the life buoy back. The group that sent ten people to the other side first won the game.
”Super lifeguard”:The number of participants are 26.
Dividing the class into two groups. A group of six stay at the ground being he lifeguards throw the floating object to the swimming pool to save the twenty people in water.
”600-meter medley relay”:The number of participants are 24.
Everyone should swim twenty-five meters in the game. During the game, everyone can change the swimming way but can’t wade. Like the relaying, the group arriving first win the game.
