Description: The Art Council promotes creativity, self-expression, and appreciation for the arts. We provide students with opportunities to participate in art-related activities, create and showcase their work, and collaborate with others on creative projects. The council organizes art displays, workshops, school decorations, contests, and other events that bring creativity into the school community. Most importantly, the Art Council is a welcoming space where students of all skill levels can explore their creativity, share their ideas, and help make our school a more vibrant and inspiring place.

Description: Technology Council is an initiative to increase student awareness and knowledge of technology, helping them succeed in and beyond the classroom. Description: YMCI Mentoring was created with the intention to welcome incoming students with compassion and support in order to build a loving community in the school. In addition, this program strives to acknowledge driven senior students and build their leadership skills in order to inspire junior students to get involved in York Mills’ extracurriculars and growing opportunities. Keeping in mind core values of equity and consistent communication, YMCI Mentoring drives students to support their work etiquette, critical thinking skills, and making positive personal and social choices.
