UCANSPEAK.PROJECT - Volunteer, Mentor & Make a Difference (September 19 – December 5)
This is an opportunity to volunteer with UCANSPEAK.PROJECT, an international initiative connecting Ukrainian students with English-speaking high school students from around the world for conversation practice, mentorship, and cultural exchange
Through our 12-week virtual program, students in Grades 10–12 can support Ukrainian children in developing their English while building meaningful international connections. It’s an opportunity to put their English skills into practice, gain volunteer experience, and make a difference in another student’s learning journey.
What can students gain from participating?
Earn volunteer hours
Develop leadership and communication skills
Build cross-cultural understanding and global connections
Gain hands-on mentoring experience from anywhere in the world
The impact so far:
This year, we’ve successfully completed three consecutive semesters, bringing together more than 80 high school volunteers and over 300 Ukrainian students for weekly online lessons.
Behind these numbers are students building confidence, practising English, and connecting with peers across borders.
Program details:
Duration: 12 weeks (Autumn Semester: September 19 – December 5)
Commitment: One or two 45-minute sessions per week

Who can apply: Students in Grades 10, 11, and 12
