CIA 4U1/6/P/0 - Analyzing Current Economic Issues - University and AP

This course examines the impact of choices that individuals and institutions, including governments, make in responding to economic problems. Students will apply the concepts of micro and macro economic thinking and the economic inquiry process, including economic models and principles, to investigate, and develop informed opinions about, current economic issues and to help them make reasoned economic decisions. The AP section is an enriched economics course that prepares students for the option of writing a Microeconomics AP Exam.

BAT 4M1 - Financial Accounting Principles - Gr. 12 University/College Preparation

This course introduces advanced accounting principles intended to prepare students for post secondary studies in business. Students will learn about financial statements for various forms of business ownership and how those statements are interpreted in making business decisions. This course expands students’ knowledge of sources of financing, further develops accounting methods for assets, and introduces accounting for corporations. BDV 4C1 -Entrepreneurship - Venture Planning in an Electronic Age

College

This course provides students with the opportunity to develop and apply entrepreneurial skills through the creation of a venture plan. Students will research and identify an opportunity for a venture. They will analyze and test this opportunity while producing a venture plan. ICT IDS 4U- ICT and Innovative Learning

University

This is a project based course that explores the impact of new information communication technologies for innovative learning with particular focus on empowering students to contribute to learning and teaching in their own school.
