Innovation Invitational held at the Ted Rogers School of Management. Representing Weston, students Vedanti Solanki and Ella Ricci presented their innovative business idea, The Thork, while their teammates cheered them on throughout the competition. Competing against other outstanding finalists, Vedanti and Ella earned 1st place for their creativity, innovation, and impressive presentation skills.
We are extremely proud of the entire Power Project team for their hard work, teamwork, professionalism, and entrepreneurial spirit. Congratulations to Vedanti and Ella for representing Weston with excellence and making our school community proud!
2025 CTMA High School Student Award Winner โ Aiden Cripps
The Canadian Tooling and Machining Association (CTMA), in partnership with the Ontario Council for Technology Education (OCTE), is proud to recognize outstanding achievement through the 2025 CTMA High School Student Awards.
This initiative is open to high school Manufacturing Technology programs participating in the Career-Ready with CTMA: Expanding Opportunities Program across Ontario. Each year, the program highlights students who demonstrate exceptional skill, dedication, and interest in the skilled trades.
For 2025, CTMA will select ten graduating students from across the province who have shown strong potential and commitment to pursuing careers in precision metal cutting trades. These awards celebrate students who are preparing to enter one of Ontarioโs most vital and in-demand technical industries.
Aiden Cripps has been recognized as one of this yearโs award winners, highlighting his achievement and future promise in the field of manufacturing technology and skilled trades.
