West Humber's guitar program is one of the best in Canada. We have had great support from Yamaha Canada, Long & McQuade Music, Cosmo Music and now have one of the best-equipped guitar programs in the TDSB.

Yamaha nylon string guitars, Fender steel string and Yamaha steel string guitars along with our beautiful Fender Stratocaster electric guitars and bass guitars make it a guitarists dream.

Every student in guitar class is given a beautiful guitar to use all semester, as well as an electronic tuner, a capo, a guitar pic, and a hardshell case.

All you need is the Hal Leonard Guitar Method Book 1, 2 or 3, and you are on your way to mastering this amazing instrument!

Guitar class is open to anyone and has no pre-requisite! Anyone can learn guitar at WHCI!
