Finding and Using Resources on the Virtual Library:

Read Watch Learn is a great place to start.  K-12 students can browse some of our most popular resources for all stages and types of learning. Find ebooks, databases, encyclopedias, videos and more. These resources have been assessed for curriculum relevancy and the TDSB has established licenses or agreements governing use. Educators and families are reminded that they are responsible for previewing texts and media in their entirety when making selections for learning. Students may need guidance to select the resources that best meet their learning needs.

Find eBooks, Articles, and Resources for all grades. These guides identify resources focussed on specific subjects, strands, and grades. Simply click on the top tabs for the strands you are interested in. These resources may be useful for lesson planning, research, or general learning. These guides are intended to serve as a general starting place for accessing existing TDSB and external resources and thus content may not meet specific needs. Keywords are provided for each strand to help educators and students search for additional content to meet their unique learning needs. Users are reminded to assess and review content using critical literacy strategies to find resources that meet their specific instructional or learning needs.
