Logging into the Virtual Library

How do I log into the Virtual Library?

• The Virtual Library itself does not require passwords. 

• TDSB staff and students can log into the resources with their passwords that can be found on the Virtual Library Password Page. 

How do I access Virtual Library resources away from school?

• Unless specified, all resources can be accessed remotely away from school.

• You can find login information on the Virtual Library Password Page. 

How do I access educator resources on the Virtual Library?

• TDSB staff can access educator resources on the Virtual Library using login information on the Educator Password Page. 

How do I share login information with my staff and students?

• Virtual Library Passwords may only be shared with TDSB staff, students, and families. 

• We encourage users to access the Page from the Virtual Library Home Page to ensure the information is up to date. 

• If you choose to share them online, must be in TDSB password-protected environments (Brightspace, Google Classroom or Drive). 

Resources on the Virtual Library

How do I find resources on the Virtual Library? 

• For eBooks, database and streaming video platforms licensed by the Library Learning Resources, explore the Read Watch Learn page. 

• For detailed information on each resource, please refer to the How-to slides on the Library support site. 

Why is this resource no longer on the Virtual Library?

• Resources are reviewed on a regular basis to ensure that they meet the needs of the board.
