Resource Support and Professional Learning Committee

This committee is responsible for gathering resources for educators. The resources will support learning about antisemitism and Judaism. The goal is to create an accessible document for educators to use to self-educate and for use in the classroom
Jewish Heritage Month Committee
Executive Lead: Stacie Berman
Chair: Blair Dash
This committee plans an event each year for the month of May; Jewish Heritage month. Each event (e.g. Field trip, book/ novel study, presentation) has an educational program which includes teaching resources that are tied to the curriculum. Each year a different grade(s) group is included in the program.
Holocaust Education Committee
Executive Lead: Debbie Donsky
The Holocaust Education Committee is a sub-committee of the larger Jewish Heritage Committee. This committee is committed to ensuring that Holocaust Education is provided for all students in K-12. The Holocaust Education Committee has been actively working on providing programs for K-12 on teaching the Holocaust. They have also provided feedback and input to Neuberger on the programs for their Holocaust Museum, as well as input on the rapid response for schools when there is an Antisemitic incident.
