Description: During this presentation, teachers will learn how to integrate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) into their classroom while at the same time empowering students of all backgrounds. Teachers will be inspired to apply STEAM in a manner that includes and encourages all. In this STEAM activity, students will design a house and I will explore the importance of giving students a voice - to know their expertise, opinion and ideas are valued.
