School aged children with resonance and voice disorders, moderate-severe articulation difficulties and moderate-severe dysfluency disorders may be eligible to receive School Based Rehab Services.
All referrals for Speech Therapy consideration must be processed through the school Speech-Language Pathologist. To inquire if a particular student might be eligible to receive Speech Therapy services, or you are unsure about your CTC (Children Treatment Centre), please consult with the school Speech-Language Pathologist.

A referral is required if the student is not a current Holland Bloorview client or has not been seen within the last year. Referrals are accepted from physicians, nurse practitioners, SLPs, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists.
Ontario Early Years Centre offer support in getting your child ready for school. These Centres are for parents/caregivers and their children up to the age of six years. The Centres offer a variety of activities for families and provide information about child development and services to support that development.
The Geneva Centre offers a wide range of clinical services which are determined individually for each person with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). All of their clinical services are supported by a multi-disciplinary team of trained, experienced and empathic professionals.
Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital assesses and treats children born with disabilities and special needs and those who acquire disabilities through serious illness or accidents. Holland Bloorview helps clients transition to adult services when they turn 18. They also offer inpatient, outpatient and day patient services.
Community Outreach services, psychological and family support services to people with an ASD and accommodation supports are provided. The Ontario Autism Program (OAP) offers support to families of children and youth on the autism spectrum.
Children and youth who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) by a qualified professional are eligible for the program. Children receive services and supports until the age of 18.
OAFCCD’s mission is to work with families and community partners to ensure children have access to effective speech and language services. Services provided include Parent Resource Information, Parent Support Activities and Public Awareness Activities.
SickKids or by an outside Paediatrician who is affiliated with SickKids may submit a Speech-language referrals. Appropriate referrals are children of preschool age who display speech and language delay (receptive and expressive language skills), articulation and phonology.

Surrey Place Preschool Speech & Language Program provides speech and language services for children from birth until start of school.
The last date for referrals to Surrey Place Preschool Speech & Language Program via the TDSB Speech-Language Pathology Department is August of their Junior Kindergarten year. It is important for children to be seen for services as soon as possible in order or them to benefit the most.
